I know that it sounds exactly as a scam but it isn't, believe me.
Plimus (a software reseller) added a new policy that force its software vendors to offer "30 days money back guaranty; no question asked"! Buy any software application listed on Plimus Store and then place a refund request and you will instantly get money back. The vendors are forced to comply. You don't have to provide a reason, so you don't have to invent one. Therefore, this is it totally legal!
You want to do amateur or power-level computing? Then there is no other choice than Windows! Period. As a Windows user you don't have to spend tons of a money for a Mac PC (sorry Mac guys but Mac is nothing else than an expensive PC now) and you don't have to waste time on forums to learn how install stuff. All that Linux/Mac can offer you can get on Windows and get is better. I spent many years working with Linux but it was always only my second choice. Sorry Linux friends, but I said it.

Still pissed with InMotion Hosting
Everything is nice about InMotion Hosting until you have a problem and you need to reach the support. Then the hell breaks loose. The Indian support guy won’t to listen to your problems. The only way to fix it is to search the solution by yourself and then try to convince the support guys to implement your solution. Last time I was blocked by their firewall so I couldn’t see my own web site and it took several months to convince them that the problem was on their side.
There are severe limitation with the email (you can send only very few emails per day).
Conclusion: InMotion Hosting is good for hosting low complexity web sites (2-3 pages plain HTML web sites) where nothing can get broken.

SpeedLink Styx laser mouse
I got a new laser mouse. It was pretty cheap. The brand is SpeedLink. The hardware part seems good but the driver is unusable. They said that the mouse has 5 programmable buttons but after a while it loses the function assigned to the buttons So, the 'programmable' buttons are not that programmable. I will wait 48 hours to see if the support will give me a solution to this problem else I will send it back right away.
Also 70% of the weight is distributed on the back of the mouse. When you list it you have to grip it really well else it will flip in your hand.
Pros:

Update November 2012
The left button started to age. Sometimes it fails to click normally.

Pros:
- Cheap
- High DPI
- Cable is soft/flexible but resistant
- Driver issues (renders the buttons inoperable)
- Uneven weight
- Extremely heavy for a mouse without batteries

Using 4GB on 32 bits Windows systems (for noobs)
Probably you already know that Windows 32 bits will use only (about) 3 GB of RAM even if you have more than that installed in your computer.
PAE (Physical Address Extension) allows you to enable your computer to use up to 4GB of RAM. So, all your have to do is to enable PAE on your system. Note that PAE is automatically enabled if:
To enable PAE:
Windows Vista/Windows 7
Use the following BCDEdit /set command to set the pae boot entry option:
IF DEP is enabled, PAE cannot be disabled. Use the following BCDEdit /set commands to disable both DEP and PAE:
To enable PAE, use the /PAE switch in the Boot.ini file. To disable PAE, use the /NOPAE switch. To disable DEP, use the /EXECUTE switch.
----------------
I did some investigations to see if there is any way to clearly see if PAE is enabled or not. It seems there is no way to do it.
:(

- your server has hot-add memory ability (ability to add more memory without shutting down the server !!)
- data execution prevention (DEP) is enabled
To enable PAE:
Windows Vista/Windows 7
Use the following BCDEdit /set command to set the pae boot entry option:
bcdedit /set [{ID}] pae ForceEnable
IF DEP is enabled, PAE cannot be disabled. Use the following BCDEdit /set commands to disable both DEP and PAE:
bcdedit /set [{ID}] nx AlwaysOffNote that under Windows 7, PAE should be enabled by default - but there could be also cases when it isn't. So, better enable it manually - "just in case".
bcdedit /set [{ID}] pae ForceDisable
Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP/2000
To enable PAE, use the /PAE switch in the Boot.ini file. To disable PAE, use the /NOPAE switch. To disable DEP, use the /EXECUTE switch.
